TDD Revisited
We will look at the key Fallacies of Test-Driven Development (TDD), such as 'Developers write Unit Tests' or 'Test After is as effective as Test First' and explore a set of Principles that let us write good unit tests instead. Finally, Ian will share his experience on approaching TDD to be successful. This session includes pragmatic bits of advice on following the ideas outlined in Ian's previous talk, "TDD Where Did it All Go Wrong."
What's on:
Developers write Unit Tests
The trigger for a new test is a new function
Customers write Acceptance Tests
It doesn't matter if you test first of test last
You want 100% test coverage of your code
